Skin diseases:

The skin diseases are common in the whole world. The some inflammatory disorders such aseczema, Psoriasis, Dermatitis of hands and feet, Herpetic Neuralgia, angioedema. Disorders of skin can be inherited.

Eczema:

Eczema, the most common type of skin inflammation (dermatitis), refers to several conditions that share a pattern of changes in the surface of the skin. Eczema first appears as an itching and redness of the skin. You also may have tiny bumps or blisters. In infants, eczema typically occurs on the forehead, cheeks, forearms, legs, scalp, and neck. In children and adults, eczema typically occurs on the face, neck, and the insides of the elbows, knees, and ankles.

Causes:

There are two types of eczema. Atopic eczema, People with atopic eczema are sensitive to allergens in the environment which are harmless to others. In atopic eczema there is an excessive reaction by the immune system. This type of eczema can worsen after eating certain foods or after being exposed to other allergens such as pollen or dust. Atopic eczema can be a long-term condition. Contact dermatitis is the most common form of the condition and is often the result of an allergic reaction after touching something. This type of eczema can be caused by many irritants including feathers, metals, wool, plants and animal hair, soaps and detergents, bubble bath, cosmetics, fabric dyes, etc. It is important to remember many things can cause eczema.

Consequences:

Eczema includes itchy skin, redness and tiny bumps or blisters. If these symptoms remain untreated, the skin can become thick, scaly and dry, with areas of hair loss and color changes. When it develops into a long-term condition (chronic eczema), it leads to thickening skin, scaling, flaking, dryness and color changes, usually caused by bacteria. In the more severe cases, the skin can become broken, raw, and bleeding.

After showering or bathing, pat dry (rather than rub) so you leave a little moisture on your skin.Then apply a moisturizing cream or lotion to trap moisture in the skin. Use a humidifier to add moisture to indoor air during the winter heating season.

Don’ts:

Avoid skin contact with irritating chemicals, plants, jewelry and substances that trigger skin allergies. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures, dry air, harsh soaps and bubble baths.
